who's LEFT?!?

You're penning a novel about saving the world from looming disaster. You want to send your characters to a world power they can trust. Who do you send them to?

George Bush? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Tony Blair? Hahahahahahah

The Secretary-General of the U.N.?

The Prime Minister of Canada?

Al Franken?

Amy Goodman?

SpongeBob SquarePants?

I'm serious, people! I don't know where good people go anymore! Do you have any ideas?

Instead of looking for a world power to whom they can beg for help, people turn to each other and learn the true meaning of power.

If the Dalai Lama isn't free (great choice though), my vote goes to Clinton Tyree.

Since Clinton's a fig newton of someone's imagination, I guess I'll have to go with the Dalai Lama, here, which isn't a bad idea. The trick is, I need to find someone respected by BOTH the bad guys in power, AND the masses of people now inhabiting this planet. And It can't be a war-god follower like the Pope.

The Chinese bad guys want nothing more than to off the D.L.

Personally I like to fantasize that Clinton's based on a true person. It's easy to indulge in such flights of fancy when one sees a Monkey Man riding the streets with his puppets.

Wow - that's a good question. Oprah might be a possibility, but she's a war god worshipper, whether she knows it or not. George Soros might be a possibility. Bono? Sting? Apple computer's Steve Jobs is great at shaking up the status quo.

Maybe one of the new women leaders in the world?

Michelle Bachelet of Chile?

Han Myeong-sook, South Korea's first female prime minister?

Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf,Liberia's first female president?

Angela Markel, first female Chancellor in Germany?

What if all the new women leaders got together and decided to take over... hee.
