Favorite Goddess Pieces

Yesterday, in a comment, ursa left one of her favorite Goddess pieces:

Words of Bridged: “..... I put songs and music on the wind before ever the bells of chapels were rung in the West or heard in the East ....... And I have been the breath in your heart and the day has its feet that will see me come again like a flame upon dry grass- like a flame in the great wood.” Old Irish, author unknown
For an hour I searched my bookshelves for something as rich and beautiful. Here’s the best I could do: Since I’m still half enthralled by the movie Merlin I watched last night, I’m quoting from Merlin Stone re: the Isle of Avalon:
“Where to hunt for Celtic Avalon …. [I]s not that island always to the west? … Perhaps … no matter how far to the west one goes, the [isle] is yet further west, forever lit by the glow of the setting sun. For is it not there that the Mighty Regina, Morgan, Mistress of Avalon, waits for each of us to one day sail to Her – there to learn that beyond the setting sun is the Morgan that is morning?”

Anyone else have anything to share?

I love the classics:

I have been with you since the beginning, and I am that which is attained at the end of desire.

We will sail to Her like apples on the flood.

See you there!
