This weblog is dedicated to the Goddess and to saving the planet -- by gently replacing God the Father with God the Mother by the year 2035. Too simplistic? Nope, I don't think so. Female deities are role models for unconditional love. Violent sky/war gods are dangerous, to men as well as women. People are biologically programmed to need religion of one kind or another. (BTW, "thea"=Goddess, "theo"=god)

Plagiarized FAITH
This book was recommended by Rick at Agrophobic, from Down Under: Pagan and Christian Creeds: Their Origin and Meaning, 1998, Edward Carpenter.
Here’s what one Amazon.com reviewer had to say about it:
“I had always known that Early Christianity 'borrowed' from pagan religions some holidays and practices, but it was not until I read this book did I know the depth of theft. Almost like a plagiarism of faith intended to convert the masses (which it sadly succeeded in doing)....”
Walker's Women's Encyclopedia of Myths and Secrets is also a great source on this topic.
