I don’t know about you, but "worshipping" -- with your backside in the air or your neck craned to the floor -- just doesn’t fit in with my idea of democracy.
"Worshipping" demands twisting your body into peculiar and unpretty positions. It's for dictatorships. The war-god trio -- Yahweh, Allah and Jehovah -- teach us how to be good slaves to duckie dictators. Ya think it’s an accident that the first Fundie to foist himself off on our White House, is the first to try to twist America into a fascist state?
Democracy flowers under a Mother Goddess who loves Her children equally.
Whaddya think? Can democracy last if we hang on to primitive gods like Jehovah, Yahweh and Allah?

Maybe instead of "worshipping" we should call it what it really is - Loving the Goddess, in every form, in every sense of the word, in every aspect of our lives.
There's a big difference in loving someone who loves you back, and showing obedience to someone who'll punish you if you don't.
