RIDDLE: What’s the difference between christianity and cancer?

 (The answer's below; don't peek!)

 %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
 ANSWER: Not much:

Cancer crushes all cells but its own; Christianity crushes all religions but its own.

The aim of cancer is to smash and fry everything but itself; the aim of Christianity too is to smash and fry everything but itself.

When cancer hits town, the end of the story is often someone’s funeral.

When Christianity hits town, the end of the story is society’s funeral – through a new swing toward never-ending warfare, a class system as rigid as sticks, and a new pool of poor people that never dries up.

  1. And, when successful in its mission of conversion, it breaks into factions and each version of Christianity then seeks to eradicate all others.

  2. Yes! Christians are about nothing if not fighting. It's because their god, first and foremost, is a war god: "The Lord is a warrior; the Lord is his name" ~Exodus 15:3.
