10 Reasons I’m backing Hillary

1. She’s tough & can survive a fave Republican trick: hitting below the belt.

2. She’s a fighter; Barack hasn’t had a chance to fight anywhere yet.

3. She has solutions; Barack has “change” but won’t say how he’ll get there.*

4. She’s smart; Barack won’t debate her (because he knows he’ll lose?).

5. Bill’s behind her; and Bill gave us a budget surplus, remember?

6. On the other hand, she’s NOT Bill, and she’s dead set against NAFTA.

7. To show the media they can’t blackball our presidential candidates.

8. She’s sponsored more legislation against climate change than all others.

9. She’s shown she has a mother’s unconditional caring for all people.

10. Men have made “a proper mess of things”**; let’s give women a chance.

Yes, but not her, she is only there for her own interests. And I'm not trusting of any woman that goes to bible study all the time.

  2. I agree with you on the bible study thing, bbc. But why do you say she's "there for her own interests"? When she got out of law school, all her classmates ran out immediately and got high-paying jobs. She spent the year instead investigating the plight of abused kids. And if I remember correctly, her work lead to big changes in the law. And there are other things she's done that suggest she's sincerely interested, deep in her heart, in helping people.

Frankly, I'm tired of people running for the presidency because it would be a feather in their caps. Because it's a game to be won. Who's top dog, and all that.

  3. Wow, I'm surprised. Hilary is apart of the patriarchal machine, she supports and encourages. Just because she is a woman doesn't mean she is for the Goddess. She's a Christian for Earth's sake. Real change in our government and the world will come from a true connection to the Goddess, from the earth. Hilary doesn't have that. It's amazing for me to see Goddess worshipers, feminists and such back Hilary. Totally missing the point.

  4. Hey, GoddessGlory, welcome to RGT.

Believe me, if there'd have been a Goddess worshipper running, I'd've dropped everything and gone on the road campaigning for her/him.

After you vote in US presidential elections a few times, you soon learn you can't ever have everything you want in any particular candidate. In fact, you're lucky if you get 9 things out of 100 you want.

    Barack's a Christian too.
