Birthing A BOOK!

It’s actually going to happen. The establishment is plunking our ideas on “gently replacing God the Father with God the Mother” into a real, live book.

The ideas of all of you who’ve posted regularly on this blog over the past few years are heading straight into this volume.

Most likely title: Switching to Goddess: Humanity’s Ticket to the Future. Publisher: O Books in the UK, an imprint of John Hunt Publishers. Date of publication: Nov. 28, 2008.

WE ALL ARE sooo FAB, aren't we?!?!

  3. Thanks Paul, thanks Terri. I will definitely keep you in the loop. I think this weblog might be as, if not more important than a book, and I'd certainly like to keep it going if I can.

Right now, I'm trying to find a few famous people to read the book and send in nice notes about it to the publisher -- all before Jan. 8. Guess how many famous people want to spend the days leading up to the busiest holiday season of the year reading the book of an unknown author?

Compared to this, writing the book was child's play.

Might you or the publishing company need our permission slips of some kind to publish our comments, which Ill likely be willing to give to you for quoting us? Am happy for you tho but Im troubled by having any of my comments published. Didn't know that was part of the deal? Just seems as if maybe some of us readers will think we've kinda been used here? Wonder if this has been some kinda research project; hope not. Sincerly. Maybe theyll do a name change but what if they dont? Wish y;d done a disclaimer of some sort. Last question, nmow cld you tell us the sitations of your other publications so we can read those now tha we'l know yur regular identity? Thanks and truly despite some concenrs i'm wanting the best for goddes related things

  5. Marty, thanks for voicing your concerns; if you have them others might too. I will not use any direct quotations in my book from anyone who left any comments on this weblog. At this point at least, I don't even mention in the book that I have a weblog (although the publisher may want me to do so; we'll see). Nevertheless, over the years I've kept the blog going I've talked to scores of you out there who had ideas I'd never thought of and information and knowledge I didn't know. Readers have pointed me to other rich and valuable websites, blogs, news articles and so on. Readers have suggested I look at things from a different angle, and often that's been mind-expanding for me. In the book I talk about the Moso and the bonobo -- both of which I hadn't known about until a few commenters here pointed them out to me.

The blog is not a research project by any means, don't worry about that.

About my regular identity -- I'll need to come clean with that at some point, won't I?
